It is therefore no surprise that I own several different editions of the books and couldn't resist this one which presents the reader with a quote from any of the 7 books for each day of year. With illustrations from the first four illustrated editions of Harry Potter by Jim Kay and some never before seen rough pencil sketches. The pencil sketch that I cannot help revisiting lives on page 220 and depicts a haggard Hagrid riding his flying motorcycle.Kay’s artwork never fails to inspire and reminds readers of the joys and mysteries of the wizarding world.
